Shamgar Center headed by Prof. Niva-Elkin-Koren At the Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University, began its activities at October 2022, emphasizing the dialogue between academia industry and government. 
The mission of the Chief  Justice Meir Shamgar Center for Digital Law and Innovation is to encourage research on the subject   the challenges   which the digital age places at the interface between technology, law and society in a variety of fields such as the use of information and artificial intelligence, processes social and decision-making patterns, the position of the individual in front of technological processes and appropriate directions in regulation. A response to these dynamic developments requires a multi-disciplinary research approach that brings together jurists with scientists and researchers from the entire academic spectrum while cooperating with governmental and commercial bodies.
