How can we effectively audit Artificial Intelligence systems?

What are the legal and ethical ramifications of deploying AI within organizations, its utilization by individuals, and the delegation of decision-making authority to autonomous systems?

The Shamgar Center for Digital Law and Innovation at the Buchman Faculty of Law is delighted to invite you to the concluding session of the course "Artificial Intelligence, Law, and Ethics"—a pioneering collaboration between the Buchmann Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University and the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences at the Technion. This course equips students with an interdisciplinary toolkit to navigate the complex ethical, policy, and legal challenges posed by AI technologies. Throughout the semester, integrated teams of law students (from Tel Aviv University) and data science and engineering students (from the Technion) collaborated on joint projects, seamlessly bridging technical, legal, and ethical paradigms.

The session will feature final projects developed by these joint teams, showcasing comprehensive AI audits conducted across diverse domains and applications. Furthermore, the teams will present key insights derived from multidisciplinary teamwork alongside innovative methodologies for addressing AI governance, ethics, and regulation.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 25, at 15:30, in the Sonia and Edward Kossoy Hall (Room 307), the Buchmann Faculty of Law.
