David Gilo is a Full Professor at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv University. He received an LLB in law and BA in economics from Tel Aviv University, an SJD from Harvard Law School, and a PhD in economics at Tel Aviv University. His main areas of expertise are antitrust law and industrial organization and he has published 49 academic articles in law journals and economics journals, including top journals, in these areas and related areas, of the economic analysis of consumer contracts and torts. He has served as Director General of the Israeli Antitrust Authority between April 2011 and September 2015, and as a member of the Israeli Antitrust Tribunal between 2006 and 2010.
